Position Description

A primary care clinic in Austin, Texas is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a 6-month contract role. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with every other weekend rotation and the opportunity to deliver evidence-based family and primary care in a collaborative clinical setting.

Position Details

$78–$80/hour ($79/hr target rate)

• 6-month contract

• 32.5 hours per week

• Monday–Friday + every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

• Austin, TX (78749)

• Start ASAP

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and family care

• Perform assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning

• Manage chronic conditions and preventive care

• Conduct routine exams and diagnostic testing

• Educate patients on lifestyle and wellness

• Handle clinic administrative duties (opening/closing, inventory, follow-ups)

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary providers

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

✅ Qualifications

• Active Texas FNP license

• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

• 1+ year recent primary care experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of chronic disease management

• Comfortable practicing autonomously
